2k20 MyLeague expansion team portraits

so i have started a new myleague fantasy draft thing and i have a problem with my guys portraits.

as you can see from the images my players do not have a portrait or a photo even though i have assigned them one before i started the league, but all the other player who are not on an expansion team have their portraits and photos as intended.

so my question is, is there a way to make the photos and portraits be seen on an expansion team?

I have the same issue. Commenting in case this is solved.

Super late to reply but if you edit the expansion team with 2kTools and make it a "normal" or "historic" team, it should fix the issue.
