Well you know 2K kabayan.
They say actual gameplay just to hype people, then they just show Gameplay TRAILER... Well at least it's still gameplay but not the gameplay we wanted....
Seeing EA delaying NBA Live, 2K can do anything since there is no competition and they already know people will buy their game since it's the only NBA Game in the market.

Well, they said gameplay, and the trailer does have gameplay, so they're technically correct.



As for the trailer, it's slick and all, but it looks much as I expected it to. Some nice moves and highlights there (though they still don't have rim interactions right; oddly, it's an area that NBA Live does actually best them in), but that's always the case. The bigger question is whether the myriad of legacy issues are going to be fixed, and in that regard, I'm sceptical. That's not to say that I think the game will be unplayable or that I can't see myself enjoying it, but I'm not expecting issues that have been around for five years or more to be resolved right as we're getting ready for a new generation.

Interesting that the WNBA wasn't spotlighted, but focusing on the new NBA duos was a sensible theme.

I think they waited Warriors jerseys to "leak" to release the trailer. Probably Nike decided to not make a show for jersey presentation and show the new jerseys with a deviantart link.

Yes. Nike did a good job on not allowing unintentional leaks so far. They maximize the money.
