Anybody know how to fix robert covington in myleague?

Hey guys, anybody know how to fix robert covington on 2k? He always gets upset he is not the n1 option on offense and he is always super ineficcient in any role always 30%from 3 30% from the field and thats really unrealistic, anybody know what stat fixes that? pretty sad for a rockets fan trying to play he's one of our key guys and hes just a ticking time bomb...
