The pre-game studio stuff is sooooooo cool

for 2k18 .... if you extract all of pg034.iff to a folder and import pregame.SCN into blender, then you can move stuff around. gotta change camera bounds to 5000 or something big.



I checked the 2k19 pg034.iff , and the 2k19 pregame.SCN imports into blender just fine. In case u wanna make stuff bigger/smaller, or move them around.

Anyways, was wondering if i could use your textures and port your pre-game studio mod to 2k18. I can do it for myself, but more for folks using 2k18 in the forums. Just let me know.

to rotate in blender, just select something, press "r" .... then lock it to an axis ... x, y, z ..... so press "r" , then press "z" to just rotate it on that axis. or "r", then "x" , or "r" , then "y"

anyways, thanks for the texture permissions. Your textures are always very good. saves me the trouble of hunting down HD stuffs.

blender takes time to get familiar with but it quickly becomes fun when you figure things out

before I do anything I always add some zeros in the clip length so that the whole thing shows up
then I use shift+F and fly around the scene to check everything out


I think it is easier to select a vertex group at a time so that you don't end up grabbing pieces of other models or vertex groups


if looyh is already at it then I'd just defer to that mod but this is fun to mess with anyway

Oh, yeah, ksmiz. Blender is plenty fun. ctrl + click is usually my inefficient go-to move. ctrl +click, draw circle .... select a bunch of stuff.... ctrl+shift+click, draw smaller circle.... deselect unnecessary stuffs.

I'm jealous of all the desk vertices that 2k19 has. You could easily make the tnt studio desk utilizing all the 2k19 desk vertices.

In 2k18, the desk only has a few vertices..... so, ima just do some texture work, get it close, and call it good.




straightened the desk, and squared the room. if i changed the 2ksports blue led to red, and some texture work. It could be possible, or close to possible for 2k18--- like i said, very envious of those desk vertices in 2k19.

It helps that you can rotate stuffs in the studio blender scene. some of the 2k models in blender do not let any rotation or transformation at all.

Thats just because of 2K and their intrusive advertising. That happens with dornas also sometimes, the mod is installed corrects you just have to wait a few days for the ads to go away

You can make the seat cover white in the texture file like I did, but im not sure how to make the actual chair itself white.

Open up the vinyl_seatback_cover.3a2320785df93a23.dds file in your image editor and you can change it from there, you can use one of my files as a guide for the placement of the logos.

I had a much more complete/complicated psd file, sadly, i had done some layer merges, then overwrote it. Luckily I had this simpler backup. Suppose that happens to anybody who works with textures, lol.
