What up fellas?! I decided to make a start today file just before the start of the NBA Finals game 1. This way you can be able to create you own offseason scenarios especially either before or after the draft & of course while we all wait on the completion of the 2019 NBA Draft Class from bluejaybrandon. Here's the file! Have fun!!!

Interesting. So, I'm still able to choose what team I want to control? This is actually a good idea for those of us that WANT updated rosters/draft classes, but want to start literally the day of the NBA Finals 2019. However, you should explain WHERE to put this file. For the STEAM version of NBA 2k19, place THIS file "MyLEAGUE0003" here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\44163011\841370\remote

Yeah you're right man I apologize. I been pretty busy with other things that I forgot to type in on how to insert the file. & it's just as you said, go to steam\userdata\your game number\841370\remote.

So like an idiot, I figured Start Today would keep working as I finished up my roster to import. Go to try and do it the other day and Start Today just crashes every single time. No surprise as this always happens every year right before the new 2k releases. Got to find every little way to force people to upgrade.

Hello! I have a problem with this.

I put the save file in the remote folder in steam but for some reason it doesnt show up in the game? Where can I find this and how can I load the file. Thanks so much!

What up fellas?! I haven't been on here in a long time but I see a couple of you guys are having issues. I just got done finding solutions to both the corruption & the CTD issues. I got some bad news, if you try to use the file to replace a copy you just saved on the myleague file from the myleague mode(not start today) in the steam/userdata/xxxxxxxx/841370/remote folder, when you start the game, it'll just say that the file is corrupted and it will not work. Also if you try to start up a new Start Today file to make a save from the raptors winning the title, it'll suddenly just crash right out of the game. Sorry to say this but I have no other way or solution on how to get around those issues. I guess 2 was smart enough to update the PC version well enough so modders don't have much of a ball using saved files I suppose.

Works perfect for me. I have already simmed to the offseason.

What I did was I already had a MyLeague file that happened to be saved as MyLeague003. Not sure if that is the default or not. I then took your MyLeague003 and copied it over mine. It gets saved as a MyLeague file at first and not a Start Today file. Then once you load the MyLeague file and save it, it will now be saved as a Start Today file.

One thing to add that I'm not sure if it effected my results or not. I also went to Options and MyLeague Automation and turned on team control for all teams. I then saved the file and it was now saved as a Start Today file.

Not that you wouldn't believe me, but here is an image of your MyLeague file in 2019. Just as a test, I went ahead and simmed the Finals and the offseason with no issues. Kawhi even won Finals MVP with the Raptors winning 4-2!

Sorry to spam the thread but just now simmed all the way to 2020 without a single crash. I also imported bluejaybrandon's draft class with no issue.

Just want to give you all hope. I was devastated when I couldn't get Start Today to work, as I really haven't seen anything to blow me away with 2k20 and am loving the abilities of Modstar's Super Modifier that allows me to edit almost anything within the file. It's the closest thing to Reditor we have had since Vlad got hired away by 2k, so I really wasn't interested in starting over from square one just for the WNBA.
