hihead.SCNE file

Postby trevorjpt33 on Wed Feb 20, 2019 2:15 pm

Can somebody let me know what I am doing wrong? I seem to be messing something up in the hihead.SCNE file that is causing weird polygons to stick out. From what I understand, I'm supposed to delete the LOD sections in the file, and then at the bottom change every item in the list to say just "hihead". Am I missing something?

i haven't been modding for a long time but i think you don't need to delete the LOD sections within the scne file. you just have to rename the lod files at the bottom with "hihead"

Ahh that's what it was. I did the same thing in the facialHair_01_tangentspace.SCNE file and it got rid of it. Thank you.

Hi there so I'm having similar issues in game. I deleted the last lines in the hihead.SCNE file. And this happened in game.

I looked at the other scne files and couldnt see any LOD lines. So I'm not sure of what else I need to be doing. Also, anytime I edit the RDAT.info file it causes the game to crash. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

My issue ended up being specifically that facialhairtangent.scne file. Looks the exact same. I’d make sure you apply the same changes to that file and the hihead.scne file.

Re: appearance_info.rdat file... Could just be your text editor. Like an auto setting for formatting or encoding. I’ve had a text editor that messes up the appearance file and another that will mess up the hihead.scne file
