Hidden Portraits

Hello everyone ,

I’m relatively new to the site as I finally made the jump to PC after gaming on console since 2k12. I didn’t see a thread on this and I recently came across this last night so I figured I would share. I was using nba 2k17 explorer and noticed under the 0G tab that there are hidden portraits dating back to some players who were last in the 2k9 game. If you export the file and assign it to another player who has a cyber face and portrait it works fine. It’s a nice feature for players who were removed from the game then added back in under a different cyberface id. I was able to find Yao Ming, Steve Nash,Steve Francis, Glen Rice, Dan Majerle , etc who are in game but missing a portrait. I even stumble upon a throwback Jason Kidd portrait with hair (CHR_g0963). I would say almost any player dating back from 2k9 could have a portrait in this section( I found Robert Swift’s portrait and he’s been out of the league since 2009). Sorry in advance if this was something known, I didn’t see a thread regarding this and I figured I would pass it along. When I get spare time, I will start to create some of these portraits and I’ll share the mod folder here
