NBA 2K17 vs. 2K19?

Hey guys, so I just found 2K19 on sale for Steam, and I wanted to know if it is worth the upgrade for me to move up? I've played 2K17 since it went on sale (so about a month to a few months before 2K18) and before that, I was a big 2K14 player for the UBR mods.

So that you guys know the type of player that I am and can answer the question better: I don't play MyCareer, I don't care for MyTeam or play online. I enjoy the MyLeague mode, and really that is all I do with the game. I play MyLeague games and build franchises. I know there have been statistical upgrades that have been introduced to the mode, and I know a little about the historical draft classes, but are there enough upgrades that you guys think it is that much superior to 2K17 to warrant an upgrade? Or would you guys recommend sticking with 2K17?

There are some great additions to MyLEAGUE in NBA 2K19, notably the ability to tweak pretty much everything about it from salary increases and expectations to player progression. If you can get it on sale, you might want to check out NBA 2K19. It has its gameplay quirks and legacy issues, but I have enjoyed NBA 2K19 as much as I did NBA 2K17, with NBA 2K18 being a disappointment in between. If you're just playing MyLEAGUE and avoiding all the VC-based modes, so much the better.
