Why are they being so generous with these, and do you guys believe there is actually any way to "aim" the drop? I don't.

They could be making up for the last few years and all the limited quantity codes. It also encourages people to check out the mode, and if they get hooked, they might end up pumping some money into it to buy VC and packs.

I've seen some people claim that dropping the ball in certain spots works or at least increases your chances. I'm not sure about that, though. It did seem to get me MJ on PS4, but not PC. If it does have an effect, I'm not sure that it's guaranteed.

Fairly sure that MyTeam is their most profitable mode and these rewards are just a drop in the ocean compared to people buying VC to get packs.

100 MT on PC, Heat Check pack (Jahlil Okafor) on PS4. Reversal of fortune from the previous Heat Check code, so I've managed to get that goal on both platforms now.

I landed a Heat Check pack; the player was a 72 OVR guy I can't even remember the name of, but I also got a Diamond contract.
