Like I said before although it is a step in right direction I'm sceptical about how well made it is. What we'd really need to go along with that is accurate rosters for those seasons as well.
And allow players to start in the date without having the league history for upcoming years.
In other words allow players to start let's say in 1990 pre-season and work your way from there with the upcoming drafts of players like Gary Payton, Dikembe Mutombo, Shaq, Lonzo, Chris Webber, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, KG, AI, Ray Allen, Kobe, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, Ginobili, Pau Gasol, Yao Ming, LeBron, Wade, Carmelo, Bosh, Howard, CP3, KD, Rose, Westbrook, Curry, ...
And those are "just" at least superstar (unless injuries happen like Rose and Bosh) calibre players.
So imagine starting in 1996 pre-season, going into the draft as Golden State Warriors. AI is gone, Ray Allen is gone, ... You can repeat history with Todd Fuller or you change it drafting Kobe or Steve Nash.
For huge amount of these players you already know their progression, when they peaked, ...
I'm also not saying they need to bring back the old stadiums and rules. I'd be happy with this even if it was played with current stadiums and rules.
Also 2K, pay the vets for fuck's sake.
