Dommy has already posted this in The Prelude impressions topic, but just in case anyone missed it, Chris Smoove has provided a fairly comprehensive breakdown of MyCAREER in NBA 2K19.
It does sound like they've addressed some pressing issues from last year in terms of VC rewards, player progression, and so on. The cynic in me can't help but mutter that this should've been what happened last year, and that there's a fine line between understandable teething problems and pushing their luck with an approach that blew up in 2K's collective face, but the bottom line is that they seem to have listened to the feedback and made the right changes. It should hopefully be a more enjoyable experience this year.
One area of concern that still jumps out at me is needing to go work out in the gym for boosts. That was pretty tedious last year, especially since online games also drained the boost. It wasn't fun having to interrupt a session to run back to the gym, work out, and then return to Pro-Am/The Playground to keep playing.
