+1. But what if there is no alternative? I would like to play NBA2k15 even offline (game removed from steam), if there were mods with updated 2018 rosters. But this is not, even for 2k16-2k17 (((

This thread is for anyone who finds steam keys on sale. Please do not turn this thread into a "don't preorder" thread.
I'm genuinely asking to keep this thread on topic so that anyone who does want to get the game may have a chance to find it at a discounted price.

I have never had to pay $60 on PC and I am very grateful that other users have helped me get the game at a discount every year. I just want to do the same for others.
If you don't plan on getting the game, I don't blame you. I can understand that point of view. It's fair to wait and see. I also think it would be nice if some of the community can pick up the game early and at a discounted rate.

I second that. I certainly understand the sentiment and agree that it's best to make an informed choice, especially given what we've experienced the past couple of years. However, some people are going to make the choice to pre-order or buy the game later, and with that in mind, it's handy to have a resource that allows those gamers to find the best price possible.

The issue of pre-ordering and whether or not we should do it is a conversation worth having, but let's move that over to its own topic, so this one can retain its constructive and helpful purpose for people who want to find sales and bargains.

In the last few Years I always preordered from CDKeys always for around 20-25€. Its around 31€ there right now with the 5% Code. Normally its always cheapeast 1-2 month before Release. Right around Release prices go up unless teh Game is a total failiure.

But I would still wait until more Info is out, but CDKeys lets you cancel your Pre-Order any time. I pre-ordered stuff there because the price was great and cancelled when I found a better deal.

Wait for better price, it"s too early and too high.

I'm just not gonna buy the game this year unless I learn after the release they fixed the most glaring issues both gameplay and marketing wise. They'll put it up with big discount late into the cycle anyway.

At the same time I'm not gonna support grey market schemes in order to "stick it up to the man". I'll rather legit buy Live 19 this year.

Speaking of which, if you really want to "screw" 2K, you can buy the game second hand on consoles after a while.

The entire game seems to cater to the casual online players/modes who will pay for VC, and don't care about a simulation experience. It's why they can get away with all the offline mode gameplay issues, the downgrades in graphics, etc. It preys on the teenagers who think 2K is "Cool!" and "How can you NOT play it??? Live is trashhhhhh" who don't even have their own money, who half the time need to ask mom or dad for VC money. It sounds harsh, but it seems to be the targeted audience.

I am really excited for Madden 19 on PC.

That's pretty much true. Who else has hours and hours each day to play a game?

When I was a teen I was out on the ball field or on the court, not sitting in a house playing games. Actually playing a game in the outside world must not be cool anymore.
