Yeah. Its a shame all of these assets are ultimate team exclusive. The only other place you might find masked players would be for a live event.

Maybe one day masks will be an accessory for if a player in a franchise mode gets a facial injury. Or at least an option to let us switch faces for players who have more than 1 scan in the game.

That would be amazing, things like that are a great idea for franchise mode

Hope they could add mask in create mode. This is what I like about EA. The amount of detail in their accessories.
Having different face mask not just using one mask model for every player that currently wears or who wore it in the past really adds a nice touch to it.

PS: Really hoping Live 20 will be even better in gameplay, visually and features when it gets released, as I am really enjoying Live 19 this year.

Do you think sometimes EA put to much detail into stuff for example 2k is pretty much on point in getting things like an updated masked player out there while EA takes its time then releases only for say player to stop wearing a mask, they did that with Westbrook back in 15 or 16.

I think it highlights a limitation with the current tech, in that masks and headbands can't be easily applied to the head models and so new assets must be added by the developers themselves in order to update the players (rather than being a roster issue any of us could modify ourselves). That obviously takes extra time, so as you said, by the time it's done it may be too late.

The thing with 2K since they use the same mask model for everybody, they only need to adjust the 3d model to fit the face. While EA they replicate the mask the player use. Which looks great once released but only downside is what mp3 mentioned the player is already done using the mask once EA releases the update.

Absolutely. It's a shame we can't switch models and textures. Of course, it likely wouldn't be so much of an issue with a PC release, since our modding community could probably provide such updates and workarounds.

Call me a Fanboy but I think EA did the whole All-star thing better than 2k

2K handles it better in their modes by having voting and "Team (Player Name)", but Live does it pretty well too, and they did it even better when they had All-Star Weekend mode.
