Game Crashes

Does anyone else have this problem? When I have a lot of files in my modded folder the game will just crash at random points but when empty it runs perfect. It never use to do that when I first started I had maybe 75+ files in there worked perfectly, left it when I went away for the weekend came back and it was nothing but crashes, I tried reinstalling the game I cleared the cache steam but nothing. It seems ever time I run a lot of mods it crashes.
I’m also running a 1060 6gb, 16gb 3200 ram and i7 8700k so I don’t think it’s a hardware problem

Never heard of his problem before, maybe just a individual mod that causes it. a bad global.iff? maybe Idk

I have over 4gb of mods in my modded folder, hundreds of files, never been an issue.

Trace back your steps, and do process of elimination. Like the user said above about a global. Also, make sure you it's not because of any graphics mods that's are installed, like sweetfx or reshade.

I tried it last night with all of mrk’s cyberfaces and courts and it would crash tried it without the courts it would crash emptied it and only put like 5 in there ran perfectly only thing is after mycareer games it would take forever to load at the end of games

Ahh, wait. I might know what it is.

When is it crashing? Do you have your textures set to high? And are you using the most updated plugin?

Well some of mrks textures are huge but when I do mine I use the dds plug in for ps and save them to the highest setting

All settings are on highest possible and the game is updated and it crashes when ever it wants to in any game mod when ever there’s a loading screen there’s a chance it can crash entering and exiting edit player menu looking through rosters loading mycareer loading games finishing games

And by plugin do you mean for the modded folder? I’m using the one that tgsogood upload to here

If you verified your game cache (which you said you did), it would fix most crashing issues.

Verify the game cache through Steam. That will put all the files in the folder back to normal (it will identifies corrupt files and replaces them with the original). That should be your first step.

After that, boot up the game and see what happens. I personally don't think it has anything to do with your mods if you got them here on NLSC.

That’s my bad man. I couldn’t remember the exact wording Steam uses but as Dee noted, “verify the game cache” is what you’re looking for. That solves the majority of crashing issues for me.

This maybe resolved I verified the cache and reinstalled the plugins it crashed the first time when I tried to load up mycareer but then worked for hours through about 3 mycareer games and when I was making cyberfaces and it has about 50 cyberfaces in the modded folder

I've got around 10GB worth of files in my modded folder, so definitely not the problem

I dunno if this effects anything but all the textures I made for my cyberfaces have no compression on the dds files and I removed all those from the modded folder and it seemed to work could that be my crashing problem?
But if only my created cyberfaces are in the modded folder it works fine
