Do you guys really think that modders spend 100% of there time on modding? "so many days within new work"... you realize that cyberfaces take hours of dedicated time correct?

People have jobs, families (Some on here have 3 or 4 kids). Please be appreciative and respectful of modders time. While people have been adding adfly links to everything, not one person on here is making a living on modding. Just a few bucks here or there.

You don't think it's disrepectful to state "all these guys have retired I guess", and that nobody is creating work anymore, to a modder who had not only released a boatload of mods, but also stated he was trying to expand his modding prowess? Stop sugarcoating it, you were being impatient and disrespectful. You also don't think that it's disrespectful to the rest of the modders (like the Euro league mod) to make a statement like that? That's like walking into your house, and saying to a person who always does the chores around the house, cooks the meals, etc "Well, looks like the dishes and the lawn are not getting done today, looks like someone must have retired and is being lazy". It's the definition of disrespectful, the person in the house in this scenerio would feel disrespected and be pissed.

Again, don't lie. It was being disrespectful, own up to it and move on. The community isn't as active this year for 2K18, and part of it is because many of the regular modders from 2K17 and 2K16 have fallen off. Still, amazing work is being done here, and patience is the key in order to help any modder and create growth in this section. Pressure is not the key, it's the exact opposite.

i'm trying to learn something new. this is my 2nd year updating cyberfaces and i want to expand my knowledge when it comes to modding. i'm experimenting to Roster making and trying to learn CE. i'll try to update some cfs soon...thanks for support to my works.

When did this site grow a backbone? Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic to see but the comments disregarding modding and being underappreciated have been rampant in the past. Why is this the straw that breaks the camel's back? There have been numerous modders who have become frustrated and quit because of the constant annoyance of people prodding but NOW everyone decides to stand up. It's too little too late in my opinion.

Requests should've had their own forum. This forum should be strictly confined to those producing mods and feedback directly related to those creations. Instead, it's full of "RELEASE!!!" and "Can you make *my favorite player?*!?" It's neat to see people standing up for the creators but as long as these kind of comments are allowed, there's little that can be done.

When did this site grow a backbone? We have always called out the impatient people, the people who disrespect. This year the impatience and disrespect is just happening MORE often.

This section is appropriately named, it's NBA 2K18 Modding. That's exactly what is in here. That has nothing to do with the behavior of some people who are posting. The best thing to do is squash behavior like that when it's seen, and it seems that some of us are trying to do that.

The backbone was always there.

Maybe it's because you haven't been in the NBA 2k18 Modding thread much but it has been like this constantly. Take any thread and just browse. Several posts in there will be demands for release or requests for a creation. It is happening more often, but nobody did anything until now. Guess I'm just confused why there was suddenly some people standing up now, after these comments have been allowed to continue. Glad you're saying something but without any repercussions I don't think it'll do much. That being said, its nice to see these kind of comments being highlighted. Just needs to happen more.

Like getting banned? I don't think it's a bannable offense, it's just annoying and is something where people should flat out know better. It's a common sense thing.

I was saying that in the past for other 2K's in those sections, it was called out most every single time. You are right, I have not spent enough time in this section. I am sure it's more rampant than I know, and in that case you are right in the fact that more people should be calling those people out.

2K18 does nothing for me, therefore I havn't been putting any mods in the game (spending less time in this section). However, I feel as I'm a part of the community, so I will make a conscious effort to spend more time in this section. Some really great work is being done CF wise, and project wise. Hopefully these modders stick around for 2K19.

Could I have used a better choice of words? probably , still don't see how it was disrespectful to the point I'm being "tongue lashed" about it, like I'm 7 years old. I have no problem moving on, but I'm not going to admit it was disrespectful, because it wasn't. That's the way you interpreted it. The modder explained to me he was working on a roster project, and would get back to CF's when he finished. And your analogy comparing this with someone walking into a house, and the chores aren't done, is laughable. You've blown this way outta proportion. So I'm done with this subject.

i'm still new to roster editing... are you playing with 04 05 Magic?
i can replace it with 01 02 Magic with Tmac, Grant hill, Ewing.
If yes i will replace 92 93 nuggets.
Some plans is Pacers with Reggie Miller Jermaine Oneal but i got problems with the jerseys.
I will try to get help to the experts to put more slots in the roster.

Keep your passion on both end and that will be a positive influence if putting effort like what you always do
I was modding before but not anymore, that's why I'm trying to encourage young modder to keep it up cuz it's easy to run out all the passions within days even hours.
But dude you have decent work and updating momentum, treat this as fun part of your life, and take your time
