FPS problems on PC? welp

Has anyone had fps problems with NBA 2K18 on PC recently? 4 days ago, I started to get huge drops of fps in-game (game being played with 30 fps), with both MyLeague and MyCareer.
What is so weird is that lowering the graphics settings doesnt really do anything and I have the game since the release date and i never had this drop of FPS before... it was always running smoothly (ive got an nvidia GTX 960 4gb)
Can anyone help me... this is crazy!

Nope, I was playing this weekend and the game ran solid.
Try monitoring your CPU, GPU and RAM usage. It sounds like a CPU issue at first glance, maybe you had something running in the background?
