Keyboard control?

they messed up the controls on keyboard this time! : i can play flawless in 2k17 without having a controller. smh 2k

How have they messed it up? If 2K are to fix the problem, they'll need some more details about the issue.

for example i use press 1 as back but sometimes I need to Pres M, - , page down, unlike ESC or M like in 2k16 , 2k17 also the instant replay is different cant even rotate hmm :V didn't even enjoy this game.

You can use keyboard but you gotta figure out all the CONTROLS yourself its just really hard. You got 4 keys to press back and stuff lol you wont get me, just try playing it you will see

someone that have nba 2k18 in pc, can tell me if the game have keyboard and if runs like 2k17????? i want to buy the game but....

During the game, you can do anything with the keyboard. They even made possible to pull dribble moves by pressing the backdown button + directional arrows. You can perform post shimmy shots without using buttons for the right stick, floaters, eurostep layups, anything, you don't need to use the "right stick buttons" at all, which is good for keyboard players.

The problem is browsing through menus. It seems like every menu has its own button configuration, it's a pain in the ass.

I like playing with a keyboard, but I got used to the joypad last year.

the controls are not the same as nba2k17, in the game you can configure without problems, but in the menu ...
I have been angry, I can not see a replay, everything has changed since the last version.
Appear a few numbers on the screen and you go on the key on the keyboard that you configured corresponding to the number and nothing happens, the 2k has a default setting for the menus, it sucks.
In my career you can not train in the gym and do a lot of things because you do not know which button is right on the keyboard and that is very much needed.

Yes, in gameplay you can assign any Key like 2k17.
but in the menus and the replays sucks, I can not even vote for a choice when it comes up on the NBA2kTv, it's ridiculous. today I tested an Xbox joystick and it works perfectly and the icons are equal to Xbox on the screen, but if you use a different control for PC, the confusion remains the same on the keyboard lol

agree 2k17 controls are better cant rotate even rotate the instant replay lol. hopefully 2k will fix this in the upcoming patch.

I've played previous games and I could adjust my keys on Keyboard to "arrow keys for movement" "W,A,S,D for passing, shooting etc. Now it's just difficult. I can't even use "ESC" to go back.
