That is great, great news. Really pumped about it. I am one of those guys that rarely skips the pre-game/halftime/postgame show, even if it gets boring at some point after the initial release of the game and more material for me is a W.

It's a suitable name, but a little odd given the general adherence to a standard naming convention for the primary game modes, 2K Pro-Am already being an obvious exception.

Of course they will never do it, because a lot of mypark players love to spend VC to quickly improv their players...

Looked pretty decent.

Only thing I didn't like was Simmons cutting into the paint with zero effort from Hayward denying it on the Embiid play. That kind of lackluster off ball defense is what can get frustrating really fast.

I do not mind it happening once in a while, because it does happen. Problem is when it happens every other possession which was my general experience in 2K17 - uncontested layups or shots with no help or defenders unable to stay on top tier 3pt shooters because they wanted to help their center.

Now that I've read the part about legendary teams and how it says "compete in play now" I'm wondering if you can still use those teams in other modes. Namely MyGM and MyLeague. I'm gonna be pissed if you can't.

LD2K already mentioned being able to use those teams in MyLEAGUE.

Great idea with Kobe and KG joining the broadcast team but i must ask, why Shaq body looks like a joke? Again? Since 2k15 its the same slim Shaq.

my park has its own badges, that to my knowledge does nothing for you in pro am or in a nba career game. sure from time to time you can activate one of those park dunks or passes in a nba game. but it rarely happens.

you only get the last few attritbute points for upgrade in the park. truth is those are not needed to make an elite player. grind in the career only and get to what is it? overall 93 thats badged up. and you're good.

now the last few points shouldnt be linked to the park. but so many kids like that fake park that they have to do it this way. i dont like it because its too fake for me. now technically you dont have to step foot in the park. you could grind playing non team ranked pro am games. which is what i did instead of the park.

You don't really have 95 ovr but more like 84. Alright its good enough to dominate but still, this mode is called "MY"career, i don't want to be limited, where is the fun?

Also a lot of players wants only to play in MyPark but they are forced to do the Career mode (with all the cinematics that it includes). It would be more fun for them, to improve their players directly in
Park, each game played would bring them points/XP to buy attributes and badges. Then MyCareers players will not be limited with this archetypes anymore and it will be like it was in previous games.

They really focus on the wrong stuff. Last Year I was excited to see Brent Barry as a commentator but seems like he is pretty much never there. I had him in like 1-2 Games so far. But I get asshats like Chris Webber all the time, which forces me to mute the Sound :/

I got Brent Barry a fair bit, but I noticed it changed up a bit when I left Denver for Chicago in Year 2 of MyCAREER.

I started getting sick of Webber after a couple months. It seemed he just took over the broadcast...
