coop help xbox one

hello guys.

i started with a friend to play a nba season. so we have a problem with passing . if i play a pass, i am also the pass receiver. is there a way in the settings where i can change the option that the pass receiver will be always my friend with his controller. as the same similar fifa coop?!

No, but he could just lock on one player (That's what my brother and I do). So he would control one, and you would control the other 4. That works well with my brother and I because it eliminates confusion. You could also alternate quarters, where in one quarter he could lock on one player and you could use the other 4, and the next you could lock on one and he could use the other 4. Or.... you could just both lock on and have the other 3 players be CPU players.

Here is a video of my brother and I playing against the CPU on NBA 2K17 with the player lock feature. He is locked on one player, I am using the other 4.

FYI - To player lock, you can just go into the controller settings within the game (After starting the game) and select the position you want to lock on. My brother would mostly lock on the center and protect the paint/run the floor/set screens, etc.
