5 on 5 Gameplay Video Review - 2KU - Hands On

Hi all,

I made this video to go over my hands on experience with NBA 2K18's 5 on 5 gameplay. You can tell a lot about the game and how it may play on release by experiencing 2KU. I break down what I like, and what I don't like. Maybe this will help those who havn't had a chance to play it, or those looking for a different point of view. It also gave me a change to test out my new webcam. I am considering doing the same type of video for Live, but just on the full version (A gameplay review). Let me know your thoughts, thanks!.

Very nice video.

Nice review, I noticed some of those problems recently too, especially with guys like Curry sagging into the paint for no reason. I mean he's not a great defender but he's definetly not that dumb lol

Hopefully some of those things can be fixed sooner rather than later.

You as well Peace, and it's my biggest problem. Those random breakdowns on defense, I was pretty upset when Tristan Thompson let me just run by him at half court. It happened more than that time as well.

I don't like that I could only use GS in 2KU, would have been nice to run with CLE as well.

Yes, and it does nothing.

When I played MyLeague with the Sixers last season, I just disabled any type of Help defense from the CPU and basically anchored the Defense with Embiid. But one thing that gives me a lot of problems is facing teams like the Spurs that basically have 5 3pt shooters on the court, then I can't sag off on anyone to help on those drives to the rim or when someone on my team leaves someone wide-open. But definitely there is nothing we can do to make the opponent CPU to defend better. It was so easy to score on Pick'n rolls and on the post on 2k17. Post spin is basically a guaranteed bucket with a good Post player on that game

thanks for this dee - it gives me a better idea of what to look out for in the full game. too bad about the defense... i think ai back pedaling in transition is going to troublesome as well.

I'm guessing MyGM may not be to everyone's liking this year because they've introduced a story similar to MyCAREER, but from the previews, it sounded like both modes were receiving some pleasing enhancements. More information and context is definitely needed there.

Direction moves NYK franchise to Seattle and want to recruit Vince Carter
