According to the Amazon UK listing, there'll be a Standard and Deluxe Edition of NBA Live 18. No word on what it'll entail yet, but if that's the case, I'm guessing it'll come with Reward Points for immediate player boosts, or perhaps some Ultimate Team packs.
Also worth noting that the listings mention September 15th, which would be the same day as NBA 2K18's Early Tip-Off weekend for pre-order customers. The street date of NBA 2K18 is September 19th, though it remains to be seen whether stores will end up breaking that date.

I would put money on it having extra UT packs. thats a big money maker for them

It seems the most likely extra/pre-order bonus, yeah.
