Live Ultimate Team - How is your team doing?

Finally finished the Carter master series. Had a little trouble with the Knicks (game 3) and then I went into a bit of the handoff 3 point cheese against the Lakers but I had to really rely on it against the cheap ass Celtics in Game 5. I played a game with Carter and was a little underwhelmed. I only managed one dunk in the game.

I also bought the Lakers mamba city jersey for 15k.

The only team that made it difficult for me was the Bulls. A couple of things I used was pick and pop with Bird (while running him at the four), have some backup shooters on my team, and when my players could dunk, but I'd know if they would get blocked, I would press shoot again to double clutch the shot, which would avoid the block.

Odd that Carter didn't dunk for you. He dunks like crazy over defenders, and performs windmills and 360's during fast breaks for me, even on Superstar.

Someone posted the cards of all the new masters. Draymond has a 97 dribble

Wonder if that Malone has a better dunk package than his Legend card.

I was waiting for this so I could see if any of the cards were worth going for, but I might pass on this set. Green's stats are crazy ,though. That dribbling is way too high lol

I think the ToTY challenges will be on Tuesdays like the ToTW challenges. Another important thing to note is that those packs only last 2 days to balance out the crazy pulls you can get.

Completed the ToTY solo and ended up with Big Moments Pau Gasol! This is my first ever BM card, and it's one of the ones that I wanted. He's gonna be a good Stretch Big hybrid with solid defense to boot.



Also tested my luck with the ToTY packs, and managed to pull ToTY Ben Simmons. I like that this card has him at a natural PG position unlike his Rookie Ladder card. These packs also give you 2 City uniforms.

Very nice. I completed the latest ToTY challenge, but got Paul George rather than Ben Simmons.

George looks like a solid all-around player. He's also great for the Master Westbrook challenge.

Some fairly reasonable prices on Legends in the Auction House. I see a Pippen with a starting bid of 90,000, Buy Now of 110,000.

I noticed that; great time to pick up some of those legends that you wanted. I picked up Joe Dumars for 19k earlier. Not bad, especially since he goes for 40k or more.

Indeed. Unfortunately I missed out on a Larry Johnson because I neglected to keep an eye on the auction that was finishing soon, and promptly got outbid.

I have that PG Simmons card and man he dunks a lot which is nice

Curious about the Pau 3 point shooting because he didn't really attempt 3s until towards the end of his Lakers run and he still wasn't very good at them. He has a higher 3 point rating than someone like Lillard

I'm loving this new Simmons card, especially with his dunking as you mentioned. His Rookie Ladder card was missing a lot of layups for me, even on Pro. Imo, ToTY Ben plays better than his stats say.

I think Pau's three point rating is like that because his attributes are based on a specific game he played, rather than his entire stay with the Lakers.

Really wishing I got that card, though in all fairness, I do enjoy playing with my 90s All-Stars.

On the positive side, you have a Pippen who can actually dunk. Master Pippen still goes for layups.

Oh yeah, I've been quite lucky with Legend pulls, and that they've fixed a couple of dunk packages. Shaq and Hakeem still miss a few too many layups though, especially on All-Star and higher but even Pro, too.

Decided to buy Ladder Mitchell.

Ladder Mitchell might be the best player I've used in a basketball video game.

No wonder I rarely see him on the market for under 300k.

Well put. There are some odd ratings in both games this year, especially in the team building modes.

That's a steal for that jersey, too.

Picked up in this week's Ladder Challenge.

Oh man, I played with that trial card, and he is amazing. He lives up to his Flash nickname, his defense is top-notch, and this version of Wade can actually dunk during fast break transitions. I'll see if I can find a cheap Wade on the AH.

I played the ladder challenge and ended up with ToTW Capela lol.

The new Simmons card is a top tier PG.
