I saw a Glen Rice card go for 60k buy now; also saw 95 Bird go for 110k. Ever since that 97 Larry Bird card, and the Playoffs program dropped, most prices for the shooters have dropped.

According to Geoff's Twitter, The Big Moments program ended, but "the cards will come back"

I was hoping that would continue through the Playoffs as well. Something to build on for NBA Live 19.

I'd like to know if we'll have PF and C master challanges in the future. I don't like so much the legend ones cause they are bad in shooting.

Played the challenge that offers up a Rookie Ladder, Team of the Week, or Big Moments card. Ended up with TOTW Antetokounmpo.

That Giannis is a good card to get before you get his Elite Hero. I played the challenge, and ended up with a ToTW Draymond Green card, and sold him for 7k (I already have his full Playoffs version). The catch with the Big Moments cards is that they are actionable (but good luck getting them; Harden sold for 414k earlier),but it's only LeBron, Harden, Wade, and Cousins.

Man I was hoping for a Dirk big moments card. I saw there are rookie ladder cards available as well. Hoping for a Mitchell or Simmons card.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. It mentions gold or better, and somebody on Twitter got a gold base McCollum card. I went ahead and purchased a Larry Johnson card for 10k, so I'll try him out later tonight.

ToTW reward. This is my first time getting a card higher than an 89.



While doing the Playoffs challenges, I was constantly lurking the AH and managed to pick up a ton of cards.



Most expensive player was Bill at a shocking 29k. There were more cards, but I can't fit all of them in the 12 slots.

Some awesome deals there. I'm finding a lot of the 90s players are still pretty expensive, though admittedly I haven't looked in the past couple of days.

I guess these team of the year bundles are juiced

I only have 900 coins on me atm; It's going to be very difficult for me to get anything lol.

Tbh, looking back at some of the Big Moments cards, some of them look underwhelming imo. LeBron has a better three ball, but loses his 99 dribbling cheese, and Harden only looks slightly better than his ToTW card. The two BM cards I find the most valuable are Dirk and Gasol.

Played the ToTY solo, and ended up with a ToTW Kyrie Irving card. The challenge guarantees an Elite ToTW, ToTY, or Big Moments player. I'm having quite a bit of fun with this card; he plays better than his attributes say.



The market really has crashed lol. I managed to pick up ToTW Allen Crabbe for 4k. Also, they finally added the City uniforms in LUT.

I'm also a bit low on coins right now. Gonna have to finish up the Round 1 challenges.

New PF Masters released. Players are Davis, Green, Love, Malone, Duncan, and Garnett. Requirements are 3 team players, 3 playstyle players, and 2 Rookie Ladder players.

The first Team of the Year Challenge is up as well. Got 93 Overall Andre Drummond for the collection. Looks like we should be getting some new content to see us through to the end of the NBA Finals.

I picked up a Dirk big moments for 47k and a totw cp3 for 15k last night.

Also played the ladder challenge and got a totw jabari but am auctioning it off

The shot animation they have for Dirk is very inaccurate. I hope next year they work more on signature shot animations. As you are someone eluded to previously, many of the classic players in the game don't have correct shooting forms, they have generic ones.

It really adds to the realism when you can shoot the shot with a player and it looks/feels realistic. Pre 05-06, we were all made to have the same shooting animations with every player, we have come a long way.

I think they do, but it's just not accurate at all. It looks different from generic. I just think they didn't do a very good job on it.

That's a problem with most NBA games today. You have the 2K series which like to recycle shot forms from years in the past while making little updates to them (Nique had a proper shot animation in 2K11, but every game after doesn't get his jumpshot accurate at all), and the shot formations in Live tend to be less than accurate (Dirk's as you mentioned). It doesn't help that the legends in MyTeam also have wildly inaccurate jumpshots, as well as sharing the same free throw animation for the most part.

Speaking of Nowitzki, I haven't noticed him in the newest batch of Master challenges, so I'm worrying that Carter was the only other throwback player from the 00's team that we're gonna get. Going to do the Tim Duncan challenge, since I've never got his legend card.
