Nets legends tomorrow (Erving, Petrovic, and Anderson)

Wish Coleman was among them. I still need a retro power forward.

I'm also surprised that Jason Kidd wasn't included, considering that he is in the game, but only his Rookie version exists; I was even expecting Buck Williams to make an appearance, but he didn't either.

I'm curious on seeing Petrovic's three point rating is going to be. If Horry can have a 97, and Hersey Hawkins can have a 98 3pt rating, Petrovic should have at least a 98 3pt rating by that logic; very underrated player.

That's a good point, Kidd definitely should be a Nets Legend. Agree on Petrovic.

Edit: So I took a look at the banner for the Nets legends, and apparently, you can see Otis Birdsong in there, but idk if he's in packs or not. If he is, that's a strange choice to include him over Kidd or Coleman.

Guess it comes down to licensing at the end of the day, but yeah, an unorthodox choice regardless.

I can confirm that Otis is indeed an obtainable legend. He was added as a possible pull to the legend pack a few hours ago (earlier, it was only the three others)

I might consider picking up Drazen from the AH, especially since Otis was recently added.

Am I imagining things ,or was Grant Hill not in this game? Haven't been able to find him but now I'm not sure if he was even in there to begin with. Iirc he was part of the Magic legends and his ratings were lower than what they should have been
I'm at about 140k I have extra coins to blow so I wanted to get players I like, but maybe I should save for the second Lakers release

Grant Hill is not in the game; the only Magic legends were Hardaway, McGrady, and O'Neal.

I believe the only teams left for legends, are the Warriors and the Jazz. I'm also assuming that there will be a Lakers and Celtics part 2 in the form of the featured events.

Would be cool if they did bobcats, grizzlies, raptors, new orleans legends.

Technically, they did do New Orleans legends with the Hornets legends (since the original Hornets are the same franchise as the Pelicans, and the current Hornets are the Bobcats)

Stoudemire is in the game already due to the Suns legends, but I see Carter, Paul, and some others as throwback masters. It wouldn't make sense to dedicate legend teams just for them.

Anybody else think this big moments thing was poorly executed? It should be like Live 15 where they base it off of something that happened recently, not weeks ago

Conceptually, that would've been better. I also think they should be permanent cards, at least if you satisfy some additional condition while winning the game.

Or better yet, have it to where you earn a trial of that card, and then you use that trial in a game where you have to recreate those stats, which unlocks the full version of the card. It makes it like a combination of the Jordan Challenges from 2K11, and the All-Star promo.

Speaking of which, I got yet another trial Harden card (that makes 3 in a row!), and looking at Cousins' stats, again, it's underwhelming to say the least.

Warriors legends tomorrow. Legends are Tim Hardaway, Chris Mullin, Rick Barry, and WIlt Chamberlain

I like the idea of being able to turn a trial card into a permanent one with a challenge, a la the All-Star content.

Opened the two packs, and got Mullin and Hardaway. Sold both of them to make most of my coins back. Wilt is a 96 Overall, so that means he's impossible to get in the AH because these people think somebody will spend 700,000+ coins just for one player.

I wouldn't mind having Mullin or Hardaway, but at this point, I'd still prefer a retro power forward. Gotta save up some coins to make some bids in the Auction House.

You could see if you can find Cavs Kemp or Larry Nance for cheap. I've seen them go for around 10-15k, and both of them are solid defenders.

I sold Mullin because I could get another legend shooter like Elliot for nearly 10k cheaper (much faster and better defender too), and this version of Hardaway is fundamentally worse than his Heat version, only having better speed and dribbling, and has a significantly worse three ball.

Top PFs are sonics Kemp and bulls rodman, but I would imagine you'd enjoy playing with rodman

I've been playing ladder kuzma over them for his 3 point shooting (which is up to 91!)

I'd definitely go for Kemp. I've seen him around that price, I'm just a bit short of coins at the moment. I've been hording my good cards, so my fund have been climbing rather slowly.

I personally got lucky on a few legends pulls and have been able to sell them to build my coin stash.

Random thought, are you playing with Fred Hoiberg as your coach? I haven't seen him for auction at all.
