So this was a poorly planned event. They made you register for a wristband to get in but didn't cap it so everybody and their mother are here. I won't be able to get in.

For what it's worth, looks like Westbrook is on the cover. There's a banner of him next to Tom Brady who's on the madden cover

That sucks. Looked extremely crowded from all of the videos I've watched.

I guess off screen footage Isn't allowed according to one of the EA insiders. He also says the game has a September 15th release.

I just got back from deciding not to wait behind 500+ people. There was already 100 in line with wristbands. Another huge line wrapped in a U around the entire block, and that was just to get the wristband.

One of the event reps was walking the line handing out EA bags. He said the fire marshall said they were at capacity and it was unlikely that I get in. I can come back tomorrow, though.

I should have went yesterday and picked up the wristband.

I agree with Q on the event being poorly planned. They should have given priority to people who registered. I also should have gotten there early, but EA should have limited tickets or picked a larger venue.

I talked to people who got there around 3 and based on where they were in line they probably wouldn't get in. You had to be there at least at 1 or 2 to even have a shot at getting in

Lucky I didn't go, still stuck in my town up north.

This also might be a good thing as this isn't totally polished yet, and we still yet have the visuals to see, but that remark earlier really helps prepare ourselves for the real thing in 2 months

Seem to be a lot of positive impressions coming from the folks who were able to get in, so that's promising to say the least.

Sorry to hear that Q. apparently Westbrook isn't the cover athlete, which is what I was told.

But I did post some impressions on my twitter, WiFi is acting up on in my hotel, but in all honesty, they have improved the hell out of this game. There are wow moments in NBA live now. Blocks, dribble moves, defense have been improved. Some need to be polished, but overall, a huge improvement. Dribbling will be a learning curve because they changed a lot, and the signature skill is definitely there. Kyrie and Kemba, and Westbrook have all their signature dribbles and celebrations.

A lot of people were shocked how good It was, it's still not perfect, but I think game play wise, people will like it. I'll try to post more later, gotta get ready for this creators cave.

If Westbrook isnt on the cover then I think maybe the player is still currently playing in the nba finals right now, my guess would be there old friend Kevin Durant.

Strange that they're holding off on revealing the cover player, but it wouldn't be the first time. It is ultimately an inconsequential detail as far as the game's quality, of course, but it's generally part of the early hype and promotion.

They could've also had some extra shots they took of Westbrook two years ago. Maybe it'll be a Westbrook/Greek freak combo cover

Perhaps he's still part of the talent roster, similar to what Visual Concepts has done with Team 2K.

It was just a demo, I didn't touch THE ONE, I'm gonna wait for the demo to drop to worry about that. I was more interested in the 5v5
