Roster Feedback

Since there isn't any in-game roster editing functionality, we'll be relying on the updates from EA once again. As such, I figured it would make sense to have a central roster feedback topic where we can identify issues with missing players and transactions, incorrect bio data such as jersey numbers and positions, and ratings that seem to be off-base. Let's get started!

until they fix things like this i guess I can't play franchise. Also the lack of scouting option and trades

First step is probably compiling a complete list of players/transactions who are currently missing, as well as incorrect positions and jersey numbers.

They still have rubio at 9 and kcp at 5 when they've already signed with 3 and 1, respectively. Rubio also has a man bun now. I think I also saw Kyle kuzma with the wrong number as well

It's a good start. I'll have to go through the rosters and compile a comprehensive list.

They have Hardaway jr with number 10 (retired) when he held up the number 3 jersey to media months a go.

Also speaking about the knicks, Mindy is missing from the game completely.

They should do, they normally update the bigger trades fairly quickly.

Also, what's up with the shirts underneath the jersey? Jordan Clarkson has one and I don't recall him ever wearing one. He usually has two long arm bands. Usually players wear those after shoulder injuries right?

They should fix numbers in pro am as well. A lot of the nba players have #0 and one game melo jr Smith and Kylie all wear 0 which is confusing. Just started the drew league final and all 5 of them are wearing #0

The whole roster honestly needs a complete rehaul. Also Id love for John Collins hair, Taurean Prince's hair (He has dreads not conrows EA), and a wholeeee lot of numbers to be corrected. Can I please just do this myself. Im not sure why that is so much to ask for

EDIT: Im pretty sure a tendency rehaul would do this game wonders.

Did the rosters get an update yesterday?

I'll have to check. I've been meaning to compile a comprehensive list of missing players and transactions.

New rosters are out today. Melo trade and Wade signing are included among others, but there are still a few missing transactions as well.

Kevin Seraphin is still on the Pacers, and Joe Young is not on the roster. I wonder if Joe Young has a face scan, he didn't last season, GRIII didn't, but he got scanned in for this year's game

Tony Allen's missing from the Pelicans and Aaron Brooks isn't on the Timberwolves.

Still loads of missing players, wrong numbers, players not signed from the FA pool and the one new player they did add (kings rookie) is black instead of white...

I'm going to go through the rosters ASAP to compile a comprehensive list. Once it's posted, let me know if I've missed anything.

Knicks - Frank Ntilikina is #11, Enes Kanter is #00, and Doug McDermott is #20
Spurs - Derrick White is #4, Add Davis Bertans #42
Pistons - Luke Kennard is #5
Lakers - Kentavious Caldwell Pope is #1

Is there nowhere to see the full rosters this year?

Edit, I know where the roster is in the menu I just ment if there was a place that you could see each player without having to go into a quick game?

Yeah, looks like they've removed that from the rosters listings. That's annoying.

Probably to hide the mistakes lol

My biggest problem with not having any roster editing is not being able to edit players Shooting Animations or speed. But, mostly shooting animations.

Like Dirk's, which is way off. I've been able to fix most shots in NBA 2K, but for Live I can't do anything about it. It makes me not want to take any version of Dirk because it looks nothing like him out there when he is playing (Not the best face either).

Still can't believe we didn't get any roster editing after 2 years...
