Team Audio ID Change - Can anybody help me?

I know this probably won't get a response, but I really need help with this.

I need to change audio IDS for some teams, Han was able to do it with his tool but we don't have that same tool. I want to add more teams to my classic teams roster.

Can anybody help? It would be greatly appreciated...

I couldn't find them. They are not in the team tabs.

most of the team audio files should be in the same archive. I noticed this when you looking through every file on the NBA 2K18 manifest over the weekend.

In NBA 2k18, there are 2 audio ID's. One for the PA guy and arena sounds in general, the other for the broadcast. Plus, if the team name/city name are present on the recorded names list, then the team will be called directly by those names sometimes during the game. I imagine it's the same for NBA 2k17.

Clearly Han had a tool that could so it. Nothing I'm trying is working, it sucks.

Han could have just edited the audio ID in the memory with cheat engine also

Hey Dee, think I found one solution to your problem

In this thread viewtopic.php?f=225&t=103740 it explains how to export MyGMs to Rosters like I'm sure you know.

What I discovered is that if you upload a team design without editing it at all, things like audio and other things that are harder to access will transfer to whatever team you load that design for, even if you export it as a regular roster afterward.

I think I can explain it better with an example.

So what I did was start a custom MyLeague with a couple teams I wanted to move, in this case the 65 Celtics and Alba Berlin. I uploaded the Celtics team design as a custom design to the 2k servers and then downloaded them for Berlin. Once I exported the roster using the trick from teh thread, things like team name, logo and audio remained saved to that team even in Quick Game and roster editing. Hopefully this helps!

However, Carolus sent me a cheat table that makes it super easy to do it.

I do have a question though.

With what you did there, did it keep the euro team at 13 guys when you went into edit roster? If it did, that would be HUGE.

I did it a couple weeks back and have just been working on other rosters, but yes I am pretty sure that it kept everything with the players the same. It was weird, some things stayed with the new brand and some things went back to the Euro team, but if memory serves all of those things were changeable with the file explorer.

So if I do an expansion league for example, the only teams available past the main NBA teams are the 6 I added and no others, including historic teams. So that sucks.

Anyways, if you wouldn't mind sharing how to change the audio that would be great because it's something I'm trying to do as well. If not, it's cool and I understand. Thanks anyways.
