D43 - Ultimate Classic Team Roster - VERSION 3 RELEASED!

Wow, sadly I found this mod/roster so late in this games cycle. What great effort and work you put into it!

Is there any chance you could upload the roster to some other file hoster (maybe dropbox or google drive or something like that)? My download speed from mediafire is slow as fuck... Usually I can get up to 6 MB/s. On mediafire I hover around download speeds well under 1 MB/s.

Have it downloading overnight, when you wake up it will be done.

I am really excited to be releasing V1 of the Ultimate Classic Teams Roster. This is the first roster of it's kind for next gen, where you can use all the default classic teams and 18 new classic teams, filled accurately, in MyLeague or Play Now. I gave a screenshot above with an amazing MyLeague setup, you won't be disappointed. The amount of work put into this roster was exhausting, hundreds of hours. Honestly, I thought doing this without a proper roster editor may be impossible, I was wrong. With the assistance from my brother with his amazing portrait work, PeacemanNOT and others with art, cheatengine help, etc... we did it... This is the first UBR/URB type roster for use in MyLeague, and I am very proud of that. Retro needs to be represented right for NextGen. A big shoutout to Han Roster for also making a big retro roster, he got people even more interested, and I was able to use some of his art work for my roster. Han, feel free to use what you want from this roster, as long as you state where you got it from. The more retro, the better. Below, you will also find links to my Ultimate All Time Teams Roster, and my Ultimate Fantasy Draft Roster. Now, you folks have three retro rosters to really sink your teeth into. Pay attention to the instructions below in regards to the mod pack. For now, I only had time to do one file, it's 2.54 GB.

If you searched for that roster name by content name, you did it right. It should show up.

Otherwise, try searching under user name which is derekferland4433

HOF as a base, with body up sensitivity at 0 for both user and cpu to eliminate excessive bumping. A couple other tweaks as well, but HOF is the base.

I appreciate that, trust me. But I am going to ask that if you make a video of this roster, that it says nothing about "Preview for NBA 2K18", because that is false advertising. The art work in this roster will be different from what NBA 2K will release, many of the teams are different, I have players in it that 2K doesn't have licensing for. It would be a misrepresentation.

You could do a video with a title like "NBA 2K17 Classic Teams Roster - Check out what our modding community is capable of" and in the description, you could state that NBA 2K18 will include new classic teams, and at the same time give credit to the people who worked on this project, and a link to my youtube channel. I just refuse to be like this dude, who lied through his teeth through the whole video about it being footage for 2K18, when he was really using a 2K17 roster mod found on this forum. This guy received over 300k views and countless subscribers via a lie.... it pisses me off. I worked my tail off and run an honest channel, and have 700+ subscribers and a little over 100k views IN TOTAL. It's because I don't spam and give false advertising. This guy didn't even give credit to those putting hundreds of hours into that roster, he just said it was NBA 2K18.... so disrespectful....

I used my best judgement on how the player played, and his shooting percentages from those areas (Whether it be from two or from three). You can also use current players as a baseline for a rating. If you have a player who shoots a similar percentage, and plays similar to a guy like Jeff Teague, you can use his shot ratings as a base and tweak as necessary.

Same with default classic teams, if you are creating a player to be on one of the squads, and they have similar shooting numbers and style to Shane Battier, you can use his ratings as a base.

However, if you know the game (Real life) and know how the rating system works in 2k (Virtual), you can just use your best judgement and create a realistic player. Another way to do it: You can create the players you want and sim a myleague and see how the stats come out. I do that often. Or, put on a CPU vs CPU game, and watch the player play and see if he's playing as he should (This also requires tendencies to be right).
