So I think I might have found the short length address, for the 97-98 Bulls. However it froze my game when I tried to open MJ in edit roster.

The problem with my method is that in order to find an address you need to be able to change it, so for example editing the 97-98 Bulls jersey in MyLeague. This sets the shorts to the regular 2016 length... so of course that means you can't change the shorts for normal teams like the Houston Rockets because you can't change their short length at all.

There is a guy on the 3DM forum called guoyao168 and he has a full roster editor (and I mean full, accessory colours, teamnames, everything) Only problem is he charges money for it. I'm pretty sure this is the tool pandahero is using to edit the Viper Roster as well. You can find it here:

I really want to know how this guy found all these addresses in such a short amount of time... I mean it takes me ages just to find one teams addresses for accessory colours etc. He's found addresses for the whole roster!

I know but it usually took Vlad a couple of months to release a new RED MC, this guy released this literally a day after release. There is the possibility that it's fake, but it doesn't look like it considering this guy looks pretty respected on the 3DM forum.

Hmmm, some conspiracy theory: As long as I know Vlad is working in Asian office of VC (that is in Seoul not in China but anyway) Maybe it's his pseudonym there. This is why he finds all the addresses so quickly - he knows them.

Finally, great find!! The thing is when you have a program that can align bits with bytes (basically what Leftos started doing), all the info shows up "readable" in the right side of a hex editor. Indeed colors are really easy to find since they go right after the name of the uniform.

Would there be some way to get these guy into the forum so he can sell his software here? Maybe some Chinese pal like Pandahero or ldc1024 can contact him...

Did you buy a license for it?

@TGSoGood: Is it necessary have the game running for the tool to work? This tool looks really promising.

Guys download it and test if you can.
I included instruction in a text file. Instructions are mostly translated by google but I made some corrections to the translation also.

I did not need to buy a license. It was a free download.

Is that "Change name" team name, or just player name?

This tool has so many tabs... so exciting.

Its really the player info tab I believe. Allows edit of name and Nicknames tho

U can edit tendencies also in another tab

I can't really tell what the hell is going on other than progress is being made. Retro teams and players is all i ever care about with every new 2K release. I watch 82 games of current players on tv, why do i want to play with them unless it's bullying them with my old school players.
