Coleman, Anderson, Bowie, and the last year of Bernard King. This was a request that I agreed with.

I am crossing my fingers that the court will be fairly easy to put together, and I have to make the jerseys. But, this team would be a lot of fun.

92-93 Nets floor (I converted it from the UBR).

Looks awesome in game. None of the players are done yet, but the floor and jerseys are (Credit to IronKnight/Laroche for those). The team logo and audio file are all set as well. Just wanted to get those housekeeping items out of the way. Tomorrow I work on the players.

I know that 2K17 isn't as popular as it once was, but I havn't seen any responses outside of Andrew about the 92-93 Nets. Not looking for praise, looking to see if you guys believe it's a good add to the roster.

It was requested by someone else, and I totally agreed with putting them in it. If they hadn't suffered the injuries they did, they would have won between 50-60 games. Kenny Anderson and Jayson Williams were injured for the postseason, as was Chris Dudley. Believe it or not, Dudley was pretty important to this team, and obviously Kenny Anderson was key. Jayson Williams only played 12 regular season games.

That puts the roster at 40, but a few team slots still exist. I could extend the timeline for release to add a couple more teams.

Man, this is why 2K needs to include these kinds of retro teams instead of including ones with the best record or finals winners. There's plenty of interesting classic teams that don't get the respect that they deserve.

I would take this Nets team over the dysfunctional '04 Lakers team any day of the week.

Yeah that's true, but the 40 represents "new" teams, and even with 2K18/2K19 adding some additional teams, most of the new teams I added are not available in those games.

I do think that's underrated, though. The fact that the default classic teams also received a lot of attention, and will be fun to use/view.

I'll probably unlock the Dream Team and the USA team in roster view as well.

I overwrote the 90-91 Lakers for the 89-90 Lakers (because Magic won MVP), the 90-91 Blazers with the 91-92 Blazers (because they made the finals), and the 97-98 Spurs with the 95-96 Spurs (to get a healthy, primed Robinson, because I already had healthy primed Duncan in 04-05).

So 82.

But accuracy/authentic wise, I feel like the new teams are possibly even more authentic.

Either way, it's a big roster. I know that many people love single season rosters, but that just wasn't feasible for me given the resources for 2K17 and the size of my team (mostly my brother and I).

I've always been more of a fan of this model anyway (to play) than single seasons. It puts some of the most classic teams/fun teams from each decade against eachother. A lot of what if rosters and matchups.

btw, i would cut last few teams from the bottom and add 96/97 sixers (iverson/stackhouse/coleman), 96/97 warriors (sprewell/mullin/smith), 96/97 kings (abdul rauf/richmond/grant), 98/99 nuggets (van exel/billups/mcdyess).

Certainly not cutting any teams out at this point, so that's out of the question. I appreciate your list though.

In regards to your CPU, that's a shame. But, at least you can enjoy the last gen mods still, which are awesome. If you ever upgrade your CPU, this mod will be here waiting for you.

This is really neat! Does it take out the regular teams in the game?

Also, I noticed you said you converted the Nets floor from UBR (I assume 2K14). How difficult is that process to convert to 2K17 from 2K14?
