Well it's a good news cos i had big problem with Maumau's roster on 2K19, saves' behaviour is crazy

I took the goggles off of Moses so he is accurate for the 82-83 76ers.

FYI - Other than it being a tad big, and the fouls and stats showing up on the far right of the screen, the scoreboard works perfectly.

Awesome! This is huge! Ill be transferring hair and ill show some pictures of players I was able to complete.

I need some feedback on Battie from everybody. I bought photoshop, and was actually able to use Tony Battie's 2K14 texture (So this is basically a 2K14 conversion). I sculpted the head in blender. I have not converted the Tattoos over, and the face needs to be a bit lighter.

What do you guys think? I THINK I am getting better at this.










Honest opinion. Would you feel good about using this Battie once the tattoos come over and the skin on the face better matches the body? I am good at converting courts, making the teams, converting logos, and making some faces. But, obviously doing 2K14 conversions CF wise is a new venture for me, and I have never had photoshop before, so that is also new.

Honest feedback about the Battie would be great. Remember, I am trying to get the 01-02 Celtics in my roster before releasing.

Ill try thinning his face, and yeah I mentioned that I havn't added the tattoos yet. I have to tweak the eyebrows as well.

But I thought it was a good start, I feel like people would like the 01-02 Celtics in the roster.

After I finish the 00-01 Bucks, I'll release the roster file and brief instructions on how to make it work.

That way, you guys don't have to wait another few weeks for me to finish the 09-10 Suns, 66-67 76ers, and a couple other teams I was looking at adding.

What I have done for V2 is use the euroteam slots to add more teams (I was able to get them to 13). For the default 30 teams, 22 are currently overwritten with new classic teams, and 11 euro teams are also overwritten with new classic teams, and I have 9 more slots to use. This doesn't include the 91-92 Blazers, 89-90 Lakers and 95-96 Spurs which were also added, so that's 36.

Any current teams that I did not overwrite will be hidden from the roster, the roster will still work perfectly for play now and for myleague, you will just have to do a "Custom League" when doing myleague, and replace the hidden teams on the team select screen (Which is super easy).

Im still not finished with the 09-10 Suns or 66-67 76ers, but I plan on finishing them before release (Reconsidered).

I transferred cornrows over to Melo, and used a better texture, now we have a great 06-07 Melo. Shoutout to Trevor for figuring out the hair transfer method.

This one was kind of tough, because I had to flatten the cornrows that go underneath the headband. But it came out really clean. I thinned out his body as well so he is more accurate.

So quick update, and I'll show screens over the next couple days.

The 09-10 Suns and 00-01 Bucks are finished, and I gave Nash a look specifically for 09-10 (Looks really good). Finishing up the 66-67 76ers.

The only other thing I was thinking of doing before release was adding 4 teams that Han had. The 06-07 Warriors, 07-08 Jazz, 08-09 TrailBlazers, and the 07-08 Wizards. It's a bit more work, but I can use his portraits and courts for those teams (Obviously giving him full credit). I think some people liked having those teams in it.

Not sure how many people are still playing this game, but hopefully some people will get some enjoyment out of these releases.

One last thing.

When I release, there will be no conflicts with my draft roster or all time teams roster. There will be one mod pack for all three.

Obviously my rosters conflict with the default teams, but you can just keep a separate modded folder for that.

Thought about putting the 11-12 Knicks in it, but I don't think it's really necessary.

Used the goggle tool in order to add appropriate goggles to the 09-10 Amare Stoudamire. he looks way more accurate now for that year.






I also messed around with the text file and found a way to add goggles AND 3D hair to players with the player not having them, and I found out how to move facial hair as well. Trevor, if you are unsure of what to put in the text file language wise to do all three, let me know and I can show you. And thanks again for getting me started with the tools (hair swap/Goggle swap).

Making this roster as accurate as possible.

Thanks for your job, i still regularly play in 2k17 and wait for your V2 rosters very much.

I will try to add those teams before release, but I won't rush them.

We don't have the transfer/import DNA feature for 2K17, so I have to physically go in and create each player from top to bottom. Just doing the players attributes/tendencies/sigs for one team takes many hours. This doesn't count any faces, jerseys, logos, courts etc that I need to make (or portraits).

However, I've been motivated lately and the 66-67 76ers are about half done. When they are completed, I'll start putting together a few of those other teams. 11-12 Knicks are not a high priority, I'll probably start with the 07-08 Jazz, 07-08 Wizards, 08-09 TrailBlazers, and the 06-07 Warriors.

If team slots permits, I'd like to get the 85-86 76ers in the game to give you guys a Barkley/Erving/Moses team. That team also has Bob McAdoo on the bench. I actually already have the team created in another roster, it's just a matter of moving it over.

I found out that the college teams could NOT be used. They always crash in MyLeague, and the whole purpose of this roster has always been that every team is perfect for use in play now or MyLeague. All teams have at least 13 accurate players, making it so when you go into a MyLeague the game doesn't automatically add random players.

With that being said, the good news is that I have about 8 more team slots in the Euro team area that are fully convertible. So the teams I mentioned about will take up a few, and a team like the Jazz can overwrite the current Jazz, so I don't lose a euro team spot with them.

All teams have accurate 3D jerseys, jerseys (and alternates if applicable), courts, logos, players, accessories, signatures, and most have portraits. I think this roster along with my re-release of my other two rosters will be a good addition to your basketball game library.

So I looked at the tutorial in 2K18 on making the crowd brighter, and I wanted to test it in 2K17 on the classic teams, and sure enough, it actually works! Here are two previews showing before and after swapped files.

Very cool. Lighting is pretty poor on the classic teams by default.
