Greg, feel free to charge for this when it's done man. You deserve to be compensated. This will finally allow me to move on from NBA 2k14. I NEED a roster editor, and it sounds like you are going to provide it.

I'm not going to charge for anything as long as there are ppl supporting my effort. I can't say that i am happy with the donations overall, i expected more to be honest, but there are 4-5 ppl on who i'm so grateful for. I have to thank them for their support. They know who they are :D As long as i have that kind of support i'll keep providing to the community for free.

Greg, you should name the people who donate on your website. It would glorify them and might encourage others to donate too.

I'm seriously thinking a long time about that, its indeed a good idea.

Does this tool make mod files drag and drop like in the past or some other way?

It's the same as 2K15.

This is the 2K15 tutorial, and it sort of still works, but you'll need to read this FAQ also:

Im just now getting a chance to sit down and try this stuff out. I downloaded the explorer but it just pops up a black window that says something like "it already exists when it should not" and then closes and nothing else ever happens. I try running as admin as well.

Is there a way to remove the 3pt line through modding for the all-time teams who played before the institution of the 3pt shot?

Nope.

I still can't open this explorer. Warning file exists when it should not and then it closes.

This sucks. I feel like a baby learning to walk again. i didn't try any of the nextgen stuff last year with 2k15 so this is all so new to me.

The issue is being addressed for those getting the error. Be patient and a fix will hopefully be released in a few days.

Sorry about my ignorance - will this tool enable modders to create cyber faces for draft prospects similar to 2K14?

Hey Greg, just wanted to get a clarification on something. Maybe perhaps I misunderstood but you said that we would have to edit player bodies through blender.

Now, I remember a while back, I could use Reditor to modify bodyshapes. i.e If I want Dwight Howard's body on Shaq, I'd load the editor and change the body size number to 5. And bam. Its done. If player has tattoos it wouldn't be affected as well.

Would we be able to do that as well with your, for lack of a better word, roster editor?

Re: Modding Progress

Probably not, since this year, every NBA player has their own body model.

Oh dang... got to learn how to use blender then? To create my fantasy DC?

No difference. "Nope" is another way of saying "no".

Awesome! I need all 30 NBA teams. I'm working on putting together cards with the players' Cyberface ID on them. I changed up the format a bit:

That's pretty dope man..

Does anyone know with the current available tools if it is possible to take a created player (non mycareer) and swap his body with another existing player's? I would like to create some players with some variation of body types.

Thanks

What you're describing is a roster editor. The downside to what you want is that it would also change the face to whatever person you changed it to. If that's okay to you, then use this:
