I really like the physics. If you can work a little bit, just a little bit on the length of the net, the mod would be perfect.

Is there anything you can do about the net movement when you made a layup? It should move slightly, and most times it looks like a 3-point splash

Looking good. Just don't forget to change his "bodytype" inside the appearance file so it doesn't look like his jersey is completely floating over his model. "thin" is probably the most adequate bodytype for him. You should be working on his model with that already edited since otherwise it's very easy to run into clipping issues (as seen in the first shot of your latest preview).
