Just keep dribbling the ball with the hand you want to improve. Practice, practice, practice.

For lay-ups, try to make a "clean" lay-up (ie. not touching the rim, just backboard) 10 times in a row, tougher than it sounds. That also work for practicing free-throws. Shareef used to not leave the gym until he made 10 clean ft's in a row.

"Pistol" Pete Maravich (or was it Earl "The Pearl" Monroe?) used to practice dribbling everywhere he went, even in movie theatres. I don't think you'd be able to get away with that today.

I agree with MJForever:
Practice, practice, practice.

and then practice some more.

My brother told me a good tip (I think) and that is too drible with gloves a long time and gets safe on that, then you'll see how easy it is without gloves

What type of gloves though?

Oh, and you can practice moves with a very slippery ball, then a grippy ball, then the slippery ball, grippy ball, etc etc.

shane "the dribbling machine" practiced dribbling with a tennis ball.... SICK... how about trying that, eh? :D if you have enough control to do crossovers with a tennis ball, then i say you got enough handles
