Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Wadduuup NLSC community, new to here so not exactly sure where this topic will fit but I was hoping in General... K so anyways my question ;
So this whole time on my 'Slim' Xbox 360 i have been using just the regular AV colord cables, for my 32 INCH HDTV -_- My xbox has the hdmi slot & so does my Hdtv so I thought fuck it ill& try it out. So i bought it just yesterday n waiting for me to see what its all about lol. The one I got was a 6ft gold plated HDMI cable has both video/audio. Should improve my hdtv's resolution to 1080p, hopefully cuz iv been playin games, watching movies etc on 720 resolution -_- I think it looks "ook" right now but I know it could look better. Will this HDMI cable connected from my 360 to the hdtv really improve the picture ? Say for nba 2k12/13, Black ops (games supporting 1080 n all) & movies, will it be noticeable & worth it? Iv heard conflicting reviews saying ppl werent really impressed n had no noticeable affect. Just wondering if u guys have one n are enjoying it capared to the standard AV lame cables the 360 & Ps3 came with. Thanks

Of course HDMI will be superior to composite or component. It supports full HD signals for one thing.
Since you already bought an HDMI cable why would you not use it?

Cool, good. & Nah I do not already have an HDMI cable in my possesion. I ordered it yesterday n should get it ina few days so I was wondering if ill really be satisfied with the improvement in screen clarity, graphics etc.. I have only been experienced with standard 720 resolution my tv puts out. Not really knowing i could make it better..

HDMI is what you should use anyway. Even if you personally can't tell the difference. There are many reasons it's the standard.

Copy protection, can carry 48-bit color, 8 channel audio, network signal, ARC(audio return channel), compatible with DVI using a converter. Only wireless can defeat it.
