It's probably a bad idea to elect an entertainer over someone with more experience in politics, but I guess it can't do much harm.

Oh, er, it's definately a great move to have him as Governor, he's a bloody funny bastard, and in this new 'role' finally they can give him some lines with more than 3 words a sentence

The main reason it's a great move though, is that this is going to do more for the entertainment industry then when he was acting, simply because this is going to provide commedians with so much material... and maybe there'll be a telemovie about Arnie where we get to see him have one of those weight room orgiez which I've read about but can't find the link to! :lol:

Yeah like the last one was good. It sucked! He is like 50 now, which means that he ain't got any big fresh muscles anymore. So he must trust in his acting skills instead, which he BTW he don't have any.

Don't get me wrong, I loved movies like T2 and Predator (they kicked ass)
but he should end movie career.

Actually, I thought it was pretty good, considering how low my expectations were. And they raised enough questions that a fourth film would be a reasonable thing to expect, and I wouldn't bet against it being as entertaining as the third (which it definately was).

I feelt kinda the same thing, I thought it would be much worse. But it is still a sucky movie.

Yeah, that was a blatant last second ditch effort by the media to slander Arnold and try and stop the Governor having an (R) next to his/her name. If you get the actual quote (and not the altered ABC one) he says he admired Hitler's ability to get so many people to listen to what he said and get people involved, but that what Hitler did with it he did not in any way admire or support.

Of course, all we heard before the election was this was "another right-wing plot to subvert democracy and steal a public office" and of course now that failed and they lost it's "a sign George Bush will face serious problems in the 2004 election." :roll:

I don't want to bring your unfounded war of hatred against me onto here (for I challenged your lies), but I'll address a few things and number them for you.

1. I never said Arnold was a good choice, ANYWHERE. What I said about Arnold is he is the only Republican who could win, which was true, if Arnold had not entered the race, McClintock would not have been able to win. Arnold generated excitement in the Recall and then McClintock's debate performance tripled his final vote tally.
2. I did read a few things about what Arnold's policy ideas were along with the other four of the Big Five canidates, but they aren't really relevant to me because I don't live in California.
3. You can claim I'm "so right wing" if you want to, because compared to you I am "so right wing." The fact is, I realize that George W. Bush is better than the other potential options available. I have never stated he was perfect and infact listed for you very blatantly his major flaws. The fact that I defended his foreign policy decisions (which I agree with about 2/3rds of) against your complete lies in a thread in which you wanted just that or that I think Bush is better than the other potential options (which we listed out in that thread) does not make me a Reactionary.

I told you, if you wanted to discuss this with a touch of maturity, there are already threads you started in which this discussion can perpetuate. But, all you do is insult people and make other disparaging comments and then whine about how you were just joking when you face consequences. Don't start a discussion, then when people come at you with actual discussion points, drop to insults, then when told not to, back out and go around the forum being a jackass.

I apologize to everyone on here, I should've deleted the post someone made telling this guy to "not goto the NLSC."

Also, aloyisious...if I'm so right wing, why would I ever think Arnold was a good choice...

The constant "YOU'RE SO RIGHT-WING" that you throw out comes after you have been thoroughly dismissed as an attempt to discredit what I say and you have no valid response to any of the strong points have been made. Notice that me and Dr. Seth don't just follow up your post with "Aloyisious, you're such alefist tard." We try to actually discuss the points at hand.
