My new setup


My wife said it is very "me", muahaha. Not pictured is the 37" tv also in the room, which has a 25' HDMI cord running to it from my desk. Regular monitor on the right, 3D Playstation Display on the left with the Xbox/PS3 and PC all plugged into it. Far right is the component HD recorder and behind the monitors is the power strip with USB charger ports. Thingy inbetween the monitors is my speaker/headphones or console/PC switcher.

Well then. This is an improvement. My setup isn't messy, but I should get around to posting it soon. Btw, I like the evil kitty in one of the other threads.

I can perfectly see the keys of my keyboard in the dark with just the warm, caring, loving, and constant glow of the monitor.

I thought itd be prtty cool when i was building a comp. My desktop case shoots out blue light while ma keyboard does red(nerdy side of me). El badboy seems to have a blue one tho. And he also isnt using wrist rest that came w/ the keyboard, which I find really really comfy. For me, it just makes a big difference.

That's actually a Saitek blue back lit keyboard, not fantastic but it gets the job done. Yeah, I don't use the wrist rest, I find those annoying during gaming.

The edges of it going over the bases of the table would bother the shit out of me though.

I actually hate the that rug as well, so I bought another smaller one to replace it but saving it for later, when this one gets really dirty and boring.

Oh. I also replaced garbage bin with Lakers garbage bin with Kobe, Gasol, and Odom on it which is the best use of Lakers license ever.

I almost made it a year......almost. With #2 on the way, space was needed where I was, and space opened up elsewhere. So here is how messy my setup that started this thread ended up





But hope is here. Got another wall mount, decided to stop using my 3D Playstation Monitor as my second monitor/TV, and use the 37" we had in the bedroom. So here is a before

here is the downfall, I see a lot of wires out the back of my computer, but everything (other than my keyboard and mouse) is babyproofed adequately. And yes, I tried lining up the bottom of the TV to the monitor in the dual monitor settings.

Just did a second take of Jao's new setup as I'm sure there was something wrong with it and I was right.
NO PRESENCE OF PLASTIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS! gasp!
