So, I'm buying a new basketball since my last one got lost in PA. My last ball was a Wilson Revolution, and it was awesome, but it was more of an indoor ball then an outdoor one. Any suggestions? What basketballs do you use?
This was my last ball.

And my older hyperdunks have had their run. No grip on the bottom anymore so I decided to order a new pair. What sneakers you guys wear to ball?

I am a very very big fan of the Jet Evolution ball... that's the ball they used in my high school games. i loved the feel, and it was just the right amount of grip. i have 2 balls, one for inside and one for outside, and that would be the ball of choice for me inside but i have the Wave ball with the extra grooves in it, since the store i went to didnt have the evolution

Wilson makes a very good ball
and shoes?? how abouT the Hyperfuse Linsanity edition?

Its made out of a fuckin' tire.
The one I got, for $3 @ Target years ago, never held air, but it's still cool.
So waste $10, right now.

when i picked up ball again after college the league i played in had just switched to a microfiber ball from old style spaldings. Hated the microfiber ball the whole itme. always felt like it was slicing my fingers open after a few minutes. I got used to it and it became part of the game but i'd steer clear of it if i ever got back into it and my league wasnt using it.

My basketball shoes are a pair of Reebok Pumps from the early 90's that I found online brand new. Not so new now but still.

Is this still alive?
I had Addidas Crazy Light, but had to return them and get my money back after 11 months of use.
I have not yet decided on the brand nor the model of the shoes I am going to get...I guess I will have to try on each and every shoe there is.
What should I have in mind when getting the new shoes?

It's obviously been a few months since it was active, but an on-topic bump like yours that continues the discussion is certainly fine.
How did you get your money back after wearing the shoes for 11 months?

Well
Andrew, when I bought them (here in Lithuania), I was said they have 24 months warranty. And, as I said, after about 10 months they started to tear right here:

And it was getting bigger until the moment there was a hole. I don't ususally buy expensive shoes (they were about $160 back then in Lithuania) and I was very disappointed. Called them and they said, yes bring the shoes, we'll get an ADDIDAS representative who will tell if the shoe will be replaced or the money given back.
So, I just went there and ,to my surprise, they just gave me the money back. I was pleasantly surprised

It appeared I was the first one to return this model in back.

Fair enough. That's a pretty generous guarantee and return policy, given that sports shoes can obviously wear out much quicker than that through heavy use and sustain damage through no fault of the manufacturer. Good deal for you though and good on them for honouring the policy.

Yeah, I got lucky this time.
Besides, I played only twice a week indoors, not heavy use I think.

That's still fairly frequent use but if they've got a 24 month guarantee, the expectation is obviously there that they'll hold up a little better.
