A World XI test squad has been selected to tour the globe, hoping for stronger nations to prove their worth and for minnow teams to claim test status. The schedule, which will be revealed later, will most likely see the World XI take on the likes of New Zealand and South Africa early on, before touring the Northern Hemisphere and ending in Australia.
Players will have to play for their nations when against them.
