Black Friday thread

anybody cashed in on any early Black Friday sales yet? or are you camping out? I used to work retail and this was such a horrible day but this year I work at a hotel so we never close and I will wind up working Thanksgiving AND Black Friday/

I was thinking about picking up Madden 12 for 30 bucks at one of the major retailers. and maybe Battlefield also. might give it a shot, but I think there's only room for 1 FPS and I already have MW3

Yakuza 4 is a really fun game, I'd recommend it to everyone. and so is Heavy Rain.

Definitely get Battlefield 3 on PC, has pretty much left fifa 12 collecting dust for me.

I haven't snatched Madden 12 or Arkham City and since I can get 2 for the price of one, I'm in to get those. Shouldn't have ot fight a mob I hope.

Gonna go down to the state again and pick up the ps3.

Can ne one tell me if online gaming is free on ps3 like in days with ps2? or will i be paying like on xbox360.

there is a $50/year program PSN Plus that gives you discounts, early access to stuff, and yea, other stuff, but you don't need it for online play.

I guess it's another reason to go for a PS3. I was considering XBOX but lack of blueray was the major letdown and that too.

stopped by walmart on the way home from work today. there was a big ass line to get in, but it was moving fairly quickly and so i waited about 12 mins to get in. inside was a mess. i managed to squeeze my way through to the video game section and look around for a few minutes to figure out what is going on. turns out there is another long line to wait in for the video game deals and it doesn't appear to be moving very quickly so i left.

last year there was like, 12 people in the store. but it was a midnight sale and I guess I forgot there was a snow storm.

last night.....shit, place was packed. Still got a vacuum, Dance Central 2, 4za, and cat food, but I was the 2nd person in line for the Xbox bundle that didn't get it. People lined up in store starting at 9pm and they handed them out at 9:45pm.

stopped by walmart on the way home from work today. there was a big ass line to get in, but it was moving fairly quickly and so i waited about 12 mins to get in. inside was a mess. i managed to squeeze my way through to the video game section and look around for a few minutes to figure out what is going on. turns out there is another long line to wait in for the video game deals and it doesn't appear to be moving very quickly so i left.

Not sure if you're still in the LA area but I just saw this morning that a stupid bitch used some pepper spray at a Walmart there, and 20 peeps or so had to be hospitalized. She really really wanted to get her Xbox360 games...

At Walmart, PS 3 was sold out at 3 AM. But lucky there was a lot left at Sony store in Seattle Premium Outlet. Gonna buy me a HDMI cable for $3 locally. No more State shopping for me. Is like 2 - 3 hours driving. Tiring.

It's fortunate that CDN dollars are strong these days. Makes me cross the border often these days.

did manage to get a copy of madden from best buy. a coworker picked it up for me. it was priced wrong at the store and everyone thought it was full price so it went mostly untouched
