The Avengers

I'm not sure if there's a thread on this already, but the trailer came out today at http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/marvel/avengers/

Lots of explosions and superheroes. I'm pretty excited for this summer's lineup of superhero movies (Spider-Man reboot, DKR, Avengers) and this just is driving up my hype meter even more.

Hm. Robert Downey Jr alone will make me see this. I have faith in Joss also.

I love TDK but it doesnt have the same feel as a less gritty cape movie for me. I love the camp and over the topness that matches the source material.

^^^ Batman's not supposed to be campy. That a-hole Joel Schumacher nearly killed the franchise with his shit films. Chris Nolan did the character right, just like Frank Miller did in the comics.

As for 'The Avengers', it ROCKED! Hulk was the best part. I was worried about Ruffalo as Banner, but he proved me wrong.

Avengers, Batman & Spider-man - it's going to be a great summer.
