directx 9.0c

hey huys, do you have info on how to install directx 9.0c?

my pc has 9.0b and i already downloaded "c" but after running installation, DXDIAG still shows, "b".....am i missing something?

i tried doing the update straighforward but it doesnt show c, always b....this is such a hassle

yes i did...this was supposed to be a My Player NBA Playoffs Sunday for me...now i cant even install the damn thing...

What's the file size of the update you downloaded?
Was your antivirus running when you installed it?

95mb...the full package...but nevermind...i decided to format and upgrade to win7...i now have win7 ultimate...directx11....will install nba2k11 in a while...im now having problems with my backup drive...its not showing up on my computer...only the bootdrive...

Do you have two hard drives or was your backup drive just a partition? If it's the latter, you've formatted it too.

i have 2 HDs...i got the other one to show up using disk management. i just had to assign a drive letter for it...the one with the system has 2 partitions...so everything is backed up except my 2k11 folder, which is updated. very updated...
