I was never a fan but that's a real shame to hear all the same, far too young. The cause of death is as yet unknown but I think it's fair to hazard a guess that one way or another, her demons got the best of her.

Really sad to here, but definitely not unexpected. It's just a shame more people will remember her for her antics than her talent. I'm a pretty big fan of her music and Rehab is probably the worst out of all her songs.

To be serious here,i really did like her singing ability.She did have a unique tone to it.About 2 or 3 years ago i saw a video of her free-styling lyrics with some unknown blues band.And it was one of the best things i had heard from her.I really wish i could remember where i saw it.But yeah,like i typed in the first post...what a waste.

Too be honest, I am sorry for her death. But shes a drug addict. I have no respect for a drug addict, I dont care about his/hers talent, skills or whatever. If your a drug addict, and you die, Im sorry, but I dont see why do they get the media attention.

It's pretty easy to be judgmental about these things but I don't see it as being so black and white. It's a problem drug addicts bring on themselves, yes, but they're still human beings. To err is human as they say and unfortunately people like that end up making some very big mistakes.

As for why she's getting media attention, she was a famous singer. Her death was naturally going to make the news, along with the specific details. And aside from reporting the facts for people who may be interested in them, it essentially serves as yet another public service announcement about drug addiction.
