So Cartoon Network is bringing Looney Tunes back...

So Cartoon Network is bringing Looney Tunes back.

If Daffy is always this funny then I might just watch this. Re-makes usually turn out to be a disaster but I have a feeling this won't suck.

It's just regular Cartoon Network man but that would be pretty cool if it was brought back by Adult Swim.

3D Road Runner and Coyote

phpBB [video]

from Wiki
The concept of the show revolves around Bugs and Daffy leaving the woods and moving to the suburbs with "colorful neighbors" including Lola Bunny, Porky Pig, Petunia Pig, Tina Russo Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, Granny, Yosemite Sam, and more. In the show, each character has a roommate. For example,Bugs and Daffy are living in the same house. The show will also feature the CGI Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner shorts and "Merrie Melodies," two-minute music videos showcasing classic characters singing original songs.

Been watching a bunch of clips on YouTube, it's not bad.
Opinions are my own.

The crazy Daffy was always my favorite one. I think Chuck Jones and Robert McKimson are to blame for Daffy's change.

Not bad. It's a tall order to live up to the original shorts, though.

I'd agree that they overdid the Daffy/Bugs rivalry as the years have gone by but I still enjoyed the later Daffy, especially the Hunting Trilogy.

Daffy as a foil to Bugs was/is enjoyable but that Daffy really pales in comparison to the earlier Daffy, and I did enjoy jerk/asshole Daffy in Duck Amuck.

I might hijack this thread by posting more old Daffy vids. You all have been warned.

My favorite Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies short, Chow Hound.

I like this one because of the names and detail given to the punishments.
Note the title of the cartoon, way before a certain MC became famous.

And one of my favourite Wile E. Coyote ideas:

The CGI Road Runner/Coyote doesn't look too bad. I'm sure John K is frothing at the mouth though.

I've actually been watching some of these since they've been reairing after the old ones.

They're alright. They aren't great and they certainly are not like the old show at all.

It's basically a sitcom but with the Looney Tunes characters.

The Road Runner shorts and music videos are terrible though.

Sure takes a lot of people to write and direct these episodes for some reason.

Also, Ben10 doesn't make very much sense but did have one nice episode.
