When I went on this site just two minutes ago, every page I went to on the forums, Norton 360 pops up and says "A Recent Attempt To Attack Your Computer Was Blocked".

Andrew, is anything wrong with site right now, or just Norton 360?
It doesn't happen on any other site. Just the forums, and the NLSC home page of the NLSC. The Downloads section is alright, but this happens everytime I navigate to a page on the site.
Not really sure how serious this is, seeing as Norton "blocked" the "attack", but I'd still like to let you know it might be a problem with the site, so please look into it.
Thanks!
EDIT: I went into Norton it said the attack was from DGWLFM31. Any ideas?

yeah i've been getting that too. there's definitely something not right here.
Sat Mar 12, 2011 11:21 am
me too.
Sat Mar 12, 2011 11:29 am
At least I'm not alone...
Anybody know what's going on?! Andrew?

Yeah, I got a virus that took a couple hours to get rid of, and now it's telling me my Java 6 plug-in is out of date. Might need to stay away for a while
Sat Mar 12, 2011 1:34 pm
Something Java related is starting up on the site, not getting any virus warnings though
Sat Mar 12, 2011 2:07 pm
It's likely a problem with one of the UGO ads currently in the rotation. I'm not getting any warnings of it myself but next time it happens to anyone, please grab a screenshot (and if you can see which ad came up on the site, please grab a screenshot of that too or at least make a note of it) and send it to
andrew@nba-live.com so I can report the issue to UGO.
It has happened before with certain ads, fortunately not too often, but the sooner I can report the issue with the particulars (the virus report and the ad in question), the sooner UGO can take care of it.

Noticed this today when I came on here:
"Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page."
So I click "Install Missing Plugins...", but it says "No suitable plugins found."
And it still comes up every time I load a page on here.
Sat Mar 12, 2011 3:52 pm
Which browser? I haven't had any issues like that, so it's just a matter of tracking down which ads are causing problems and sending along the specific details so UGO can check into it.

Google Chrome.

Firefox.

Alright then. Any screenshots of the ads that come up before any warnings plus screenshots of the warnings would be much appreciated, I'll be sure to send them along to UGO.
Sat Mar 12, 2011 4:47 pm
It's not a specific ad. I get it no matter what ads come up.
Sat Mar 12, 2011 5:34 pm
Same here but from a different PC. Chrome reported that it blocked a pop-up every time I went here with that PC.
Nothing wrong with the laptop I'm using at the moment. Though that Java icon keeps popping up in the lower right corner of the taskbar every time I visit the site, which doesn't happen in the past.
Google Chrome.

I've got the same stuff.
I'm not really worried about it that much since whatever it is is getting blocked by Norton.
I'm also on Firefox.
Sun Mar 13, 2011 3:21 am
Huh. That's odd. I don't seem to be having any problems, and I'm using IE.
