Beavis & Butthead Return

Postby JaoSming on Thu Feb 17, 2011 10:08 am

For those that don't know, Beavis and Butthead are coming back this summer.

I'm excited for it but was wondering what they were going to watch since there aren't a lot of music videos anymore
Says MTV president Van Toffler, "They'll watch Jersey Shore, UFC matches and user-generated videos from YouTube, in addition to music videos."

Awesome.

So did anyone watch when they were younger? Excited to see the show come back?

The best part about beavis and butthead was the music video part. Unless you're lucky and catch a marathon on one of the mtvs: thats not on the dvds. Shame.

Do America is still fucking hysterical though

I tried watching the old episodes a couple years ago. I was bored out of my mind. I'm guessing the riffing over videos will be the best part again.

I'm not sure that I'll go out of my way to see it but I am kind of interested to see if it can find similar success/popularity over a decade later. I'll probably check out some clips.

fuck spongebob,

but Rocko is still awesome and I still watch it on Netflix.....Angry Beavers on the other hand made me sad, I couldn't get through an episode of that.

I have all three box sets of the show and the movie. For me it was my favourite cartoon behind Simpsons, King of the Hill, South Park and Futurama. Still love the show and I can't wait til it comes back on.

so I watched the first one, it was funny, but the 6 MTV commercial breaks with the same fucking promos ruined it for me. Didnt bother watching last week and I'm not planning on watching tonight. Did anyone keep up with it?

Nah only watched the first one so far. Kinda dug the twilight ep...thought the dubstep riff was funny...but i could REALLY do without the mtv show riffs. If i wanted to watch those shows, i would.
