The NLSC Bet Tracker Thread

Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:19 pm

So I saw Doobie and Shadow arguing over who wants to plow the other's ass for the next week and they suggested a bet on something, this made me make this thread because I think we should all be betting and gambling against each other.

So if you want to suggest sig bets, custom title bets, money bets, whatever, this is the thread to do it.

We actually already have one ongoing between air gordon and I:

Bucks v Bulls; $25 per regular season game, $100 for whoever finishes higher.

Yes I'm risking $200 on a team that's been to the play-offs once in the last 4 years.

:D :D Bold move with that bet Jae, I'll be paying extra attention to the Bulls and Bucks this year.

and It'd be fun to see more bets going around the forums for the interest of fun. Maybe we can have small bets for games like 2k11 or nba elite?

Nice conditions. I've been doing a similar system like that with my friends when it's playoff basketball.

For the record.
shadowgrin-Doobie bet.
Division>overall>h2h. Loser changes his custom title to the winner's liking until the end of the post season.

I'm willing to bet the Bobcats will upset either the Heat or the Lakers at least once in this season.

We're the only franchise with a winning record against the Lakers.

Holy shit. I only bet Air Gordon $20 on who wins the division. (granted, $20 US could be equivalent to $200 AUS for all I know)

Mequon — The word on Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut is go.

Bucks coach Scott Skiles said at the team's annual golf outing Monday that Bogut will be ready for the start of training camp in one week.

"He's been good this month," Skiles said of Bogut's progress. "Last summer he sat out almost the whole summer with the back (injury). At this time of year, even though he didn't have any injury, he wasn't in great physical shape.

"Now he's in really good physical shape overall; he's in a better spot. We won't have any restrictions on him whatsoever. We'll practice normal and see how it goes."

:headbang: :headbang: Bogut will probably play twice as many games as Boozer this year.

you want to put a bet on that too?

Bucks GM John Hammond admitted that Andrew Bogut (elbow) is going to have to play through pain for the next year.
The severe dislocation of Bogut's elbow is going to linger all season. "There could be some arthritic tendencies. It could be sore when there's a change of weather. it's going to be an aggravating injury," Hammond said. Bogut might not even have full range of motion all season. He's going to tough it out, but we can't realistically expect him to play 82 games or perform to last year's level. Adjust accordingly even though Bogut is ready for camp.

and it's just a matter of time when he aggravates his injury after a hard foul by Jon Brockman in practice. either from that or from finally getting fed up from jerking off with his left hand :shhh:

He shoots left handed, it won't bother him too much.

- Andrew Bogut has been looking great in offseason workouts with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to sources. Bogut has been scrimmaging with teammates and has absolutely dominated. On more than one occasion, Bogut has scored all of his teams points and looked unstoppable during the pickup games. "Every time he touches the ball, he either scores or gets fouled," said one person in attendance. While Bogut's elbow is still "very swollen," he is making progress and it hasn't affected him during workouts.
