I need URGENT help.

Ahhh! I am selling my old IBM laptop tomorrow and I can't get it to work. It has a virus that it freezes when it starts up, that's not the problem though, I need to find a way to delete the naked pictures of my girlfriend, ex-girlfriends, nd girls I've messed around with. I also have a ton of porn there that I want to delete. Can anyone help me either make my comp work so I can delete them or a way I can reset my computer. I need this urgently I'm selling it to my girlfriends cousin I don't wanna risk him seeing the pics and porn!! This is not a joke. Help please thanks I'm advance. I run windows xp on it.

using a windows disk and reinstalling windows would work, or you can try and get rid of the virus if you can get into safe mode (or delete the pics from safe mode)

I don't have a disk and what is safe mode? I'm not that smart with computers... The disc is nowhere to be found.

safe mode is a startup option. When you start it up i forgot the exact key but you hold a certain combo of keys and it'll let you in most likely.

F8 is the key.

If all else fails, open the laptop and remove the hard drive. Buy a new notebook hard drive and install it. Sell the laptop. Then start uploading the porn and girlfriend stuff in the veteran's feedback forum.

If I were you, I'd just borrow any(7, vista, xp, 95, 2000, me or whatever) windows CD from friend and just format it to a clean state, and not even bother installing windows. You can always physically format but quick format is recommended just in case you want to retrieve lost data like some important prons and stuff.

Nah, no need to use a CD or shit like that, just start your PC in safe mode with the F8 trick, see if you can use Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware or Spybot to clean up some shit (or even Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool), check your msconfig to see what starts up with Windows and disable what's obviously harmful (obviously there will be some crap that can disable there if you're saying that you're not even able to boot up correctly).
Of course, if the virus(es) is too deep into the registry, you're probably fucked.

Give Safe Mode a shot, if nothing else you might be able to delete the pictures but I think if you can borrow a Windows disc then that's ultimately the way to go. As far as having time to sort it out...does your girlfriend's cousin know it has a virus? If not, couldn't you just say that it's not working and you need an extra day to fix it up/reinstall Windows?

Okay, so I finally got into my computer without freezing. The guy knows it has a virus he has a thing for buying broken computers and trying to fix them. Well Yeah now that I'm able to be IN the computer what do I do to completely delete everything?

Open Firefox or Internet Explorer
type "imageshack.us"
click upload, locate all naked pictures of your girlfriend and ex's, click ok
look for "Direct Link"
open a new tab, type "forums.nba-live.com"
navigate to "General Talk" and find the thread entitled "I need URGENT help" by Doobie
go to post reply
return to imageshack, copy and past all direct links with "" surrounding each link
click post
