We toss around references to different burger styles on this site all the time, but it occurred to me that we've never really set them out all in one place for easy reference. I'm doing that now. Here's a list of all the burger styles we could think of. If there's something here we're missing, chime in with a comment. Here goes, in no particular order our guide to hamburger and cheeseburger styles...
In other words, om nom nom nom.

Probably shouldn't mention how Ramen is usually served in Japan then.
With fried egg on top.
Red Robin is seriously underrated as a chain, they have some awesome eats. Even if the one near my hometown always gets robbed by angry ex-employees.

+1 on the Royal Burger.
My favorite burger these days is Smashburger. I don't know if you have any where you live but they have these patties that taste like orgasm. You can also get an egg on it!Their "Smashfries" are also delightful.

You for real? I guess I always take it for a given as an egg on a hamburger is a staple in both Australia & New Zealand

Had an island burger the other day:
Pineapple, Mozarella, Teriyaki...was delicious

We got a burger similar to that. But instead of Teriyaki, it's a thick patty, plus bacon strips, and a pineapple ring, plus the sauce that I still can't recognize what they do with it, it isn't mayo + ketchup.

For Pdub and anyone else who may be located in So Cal, what do you guys think of In-And-Out Burger?
I was surprised to see how much of a big deal it was for many peeps when I was living in LA. I thought their burgers were pretty good, but the selection is pretty poor though.

In-And-out burger blew me away when I went to San Fransisco. The quality of the burgers, along with how quickly you get them and how cheap it was? I wish they would come up my way

I used to love the "Footy Burger" we had at McDonalds here. I suspect it's a double quarter pounder, but there's something that isn't quite the same. The new Angus burgers are pretty nice also but I still get either double quarter pounders or triple cheeseburgers, depending on how many years I want to wipe off my life expectancy.

there's a chili cheeseburger under those fries and onion rings.
Ftw.

Did it have tomato or mayo on it? I never tried the Footy Burger, I've always just stuck with the Quarter Pounder (or Double Quarter Pounder if I'm feeling particularly hungry) on the occasion that I grab Maccas for lunch.
