I didn't bother searching for a thread like this because I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. So, who are your favorite actors and actresses?

Here's mine.

1) Daniel Day-Lewis
2) Edward Norton
3) Al Pacino
4) Johnny Depp
5) Cate Blanchett

With the exception of Daniel Day-Lewis, I'm iffy with this list. I might replace one of them with Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro or Kevin Spacey.

It sucks that I don't have any more favorite female actresses. Most of them are too pretty to act. Like Jessica Alba.

Edit: I can't believe I forgot Johnny Depp.

Hey now, Alan Alda is really the only unusual choice on there. Everyone else is a perfectly acceptable choice for a 24 year old.

This is hard as I am overly critical about acting. I can't pick people on their previous performances and the ones we have right now don't impress me much. Women have an emotional deficiency compared to men, so I can't pick those either. I don't like any I guess.

Wait, I like Robert Downey Jr. His performances in tropic thunder and ironman were cool enough.

I dropped Edward Norton off my list. He's a good actor but it seems like he has a history of forcing rewriting of scripts in projects that he is involved (maybe that explains why he's a good actor?).
